Happy Birthday Hollis and Jim!! Hope you are having a great party, Jim! (surprise) Two milestones... Max has survived the first year of parenthood, and Jim has survived half a century! Congrats to both of you, and here's to many more...

I have been busy planning a "big girl's" day out with my 4-year-old, Emily. Sunday, we are going to brunch at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. Then we will be heading to a performance by the Miami City Ballet at the University of Miami's Sunday Afternoons of Music for Children. We can't wait! There is nothing like getting dressed up with your little girl and having some quality time..

Speaking of getting dressed up, I think I will wear the Jaloux "Yellow Printed Halter" Dress with a big white bangle bracelet.. the perfect outfit for brunch and ballet..with a 4-year-old!!
