Happy New Years Eve!

I (of course) love all of the Susana Monaco items. When I visited the store recently I tried on the Susana Monaco "Diaz Hoodie" Top and my sister tried on the Susana Monaco "Bombshell Halter" Dress. They both are to die for!! Susana items always fit so well, and they are also very versatile! I'm definitely going to purchase the Diaz Hoodie soon! I can wear it with jeans and brown boots for a casual look, or tights and pumps for a dressy look. I love it!! This will be my 3rd chocolate brown, same fabric, Susana item that I have purchased from J. LaMore. I love this color and fabric!!!

After Christmas Shopping

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and everyone was able to be with their families and loved ones. I know that many of us live all over the world and it is often hard to get the whole family togeher.

I am in L.A and went to the mall yesterday to pick up a quick gift for a friend. I honestly do not understand how there still are that many people at the mall. I thought everyone had been shopping for weeks for gifts. It really is insane.

I was tempted to put up flyers all around the mall for Jlamore.com. The sale going on right now is incredible!!!!! Staying Warm in WI

Everyone is right, it's miserable here! All I want to do is be comfy and warm, yet sometimes that's hard to do while still looking put together. With the Qi Cashmere "Cardigan Coat" Sweater, you are completely warm and comfortable, yet you could wear this out to a party or a dinner. I love how it looks with tights!

Need Boots ASAP!

I just flew into Wisconsin this afternoon and was greeted by the cold, wind, and snow! (And I had thought New York City was cold... In reality, NYC was a balmy 40 degrees!) I was wearing jeans, pumps, and a short little jacket when I got off the plane in Madison today - definitely not appropriate for the snowstorm that was happening around me. I am in town for more than a week and will definitely need to tweak my wardrobe. I think these Manas "Winter Marrone" Boots are calling my name - functional and stylish! How perfect!!!!

Funny Christmas Story

Julie, it's so funny you brought that up about your Dad printing a picture off of your gift. I remember in High School I really wanted a Louis Vuitton bag for Christmas I begged and begged! Well, obviously my family really didn't have the money for a $3,000 bag! So my mom cut out a picture of this bag and put it in a little box and wrote "someday" on it. It meant a lot to me that she did that. Does anyone have any other cute holiday stories they would like to share?

Yoana on Sale!

I just realized Christmas is in 3 days. I hope everyone is ready! I noticed today that Yoana Baraschi items are on sale!! I've wanted the Yoana Baraschi "Shawl Knit Tunic" Top forever, and now would be the best time to buy it! Even though if you order online right now the items won't make it before Christmas, what my dad always does with last minute gift requests is that he orders the item, then prints out a picture of it and puts it in a big box and wraps it. Not as fun as receiving the actual item at the time, but it's always fun to look forward to those items arriving a few days after Christmas!

One of my favorite parts of winter is a winter get-away!! …I’m leaving cold NYC tomorrow for a last-minute trip to Miami before heading to Wisconsin for Christmas with my parents. When gift-giving, I love to give things that are not only beautiful, but practical as well. When buying for the fashionista in your life, I think think that the Taylor & Hyde "Scoop Neck Smocked" Dress would be perfect! She could wear it to the trendy new sushi restaurant in town, an art gallery opening, or her best friend's birthday bash! Burrr!

Yes, keeping warm in the Midwest was necessary yesterday! My classes were all canceled because of the terrible snow storms- it was great to have the whole day off! Last night me and a bunch of my girlfriends went ice skating at a little park in downtown Milwaukee. It was so cute! There was holiday lights and music, and to make things even more amazing, the whole outdoor rink was connected to a Starbucks, where you could go in wearing your skates and order a nice hot coffee!!

I wish I would of had the Poleci "Tube Sleeve" Coat to wear last night! I know that it would be warm enough to handle the cold weather, and I would have looked so cute skating around in this! Only thing is, I would have to improve on my skating, because if I fell wearing this gorgeous coat I would not be a happy camper!!

Keeping warm in the Mid-West

The Ice Storms have hit and are here to stay..or at least the frozen cold weather. Today I had to work from home because the road conditions were terrible. The best way to keep warm and cozy is wearing the B. Chyll "Shawl Cardigan" Sweater. This sweater is a stylish blanket! Having 2 older sisters, we tend to do a little primping and priming before we open presents on Christmas morning (those pictures will be in the album forever, we have to look a little decent!) For Christmas morning and day this year, I want to wear the Twisted Heart "Stud Crew" T-Shirt. AAAAGGHHH! Being pregnant this holiday season and seeing all that jlamore.com has to offer is KILLING me!! Every day when I go to my closet, I forlornly look at all of my jlamore.com items, sigh, then pull out the old trusty maternity jeans! Oh, well. This will be the LAST time I am going through this, so I am going to save all the money I would have spent and have a shopping spree as soon as I'm back to my old weight. I especially love this Urchin "Red Lurex" Sweater.. It is SO ME! Casual, yet a classy standout. A Look for Less III

It is incredible how many different designer items that we can find on jlamore.com for much less. Like Amanda and Amy said, it is always fun to be able to look and dress like the stars with out having to break the bank. Finding these what I like to call "Designer Look A Like Treasures" is always so exciting.

So, what I found today for my little treasure is the Vidler and Nixon coat that is so similar to the Ardistia "Zeva Bishop" Jacket. The cut and style is so similar but there is a huge difference...the Ardistia "Zeva Bishop" Jacket less than half the price of the Vidler and Nixon coat which is over $2,000.00. This is a great jacket!

Thank you Amanda for writing a look for less blog. It is so much fun to find designer looks for less, it's a hobby of mine.

The Boutique 9 "Tunika Black" Pumps are a perfect example of a look for less. I know Christian Louboutin is known for the red sole but I am loving the gold sole and the patent leather material rather than satin. I am so glad someone made a sexier pair of these pumps for less! The Christian Louboutin cost $850 and the Boutique 9's cost only $143!!

I think we all love finding "a look for less.” It’s so thrilling to save money and still find a great dress, top, etc.!! Today I spotted a tiered mini dress by Marchesa (on the right) that instantly reminded me of the Christopher Deane Felicity Babydoll dress on jlamore.com. The Marchesa dress is almost $800, while the same look by Christopher Deane can be accomplished for less than half that! ...For me, that's a great find. (And then I can feel good about buying a new pair of shoes!!)

Christmas Day

I can't wait for Christmas! I need to wear the perfet outfit for Christmas Day. This Urchin sweater would be adorable! I love the batwing sleeves and rich red color with a touch of sparkle.

I don't know about you but I always wear pjs to open presents Christmas day. My family always insist on taking pictures and I always regret not putting on a cute outfit and maybe a little makeup. This Christmas will be different, I will proudly smile with this sweater on.

My most recent purchase from J. LaMore is the Salvage "Keyes" Hoodie and I am in love with it! It's cute, trendy and so different from anything else I own. I actually wore it out today Christmas shopping with my Twisted Heart "Lucy" Pants in Black. I was watching Samantha Who?, catching up on my shows from this week and saw her wearing the Qi Cashmere "Single Button Cardigan" Sweater but in a sand color. I was trying to find a picture of it on abc but they did not have one. I was so excited to see her wearing a piece that Jlamore.com carries. I have the Qi Cashmere "Single Button Cardigan" Sweater and love it! Every time I wear it someone compliments me. My New Liquid Stallion Pencil Skirt

I recieved a nice package on my door step this afternoon, with my new Liquid "Stallion" Pencil Skirt. It is even better looking on than in the picture. The fabric and satin waist band is so chic and stylish. This skirt fits like a glove and it very flattering. It really holds everything in!! I have a Christmas/ Holiday Luncheon that I am going to tomorrow at a Country Club in town. I am going to wear my new skirt with black leather boots, and a silver metalic top. Perfect outfit for the holidays!!
