Well, I have officially made my first "move" from Madison to Milwaukee. I really like it here so far! This labor day weekend weather has been fabulous! I had my first night out last night and I wore Allen B Jeans, Steven Pumps, and my white pleated Bailey 44 top with a long brown chain necklace. It was the perfect outfit to meet new people in! I felt dressed up, but not over dressed. What would I do without all my J. LaMore fashions??
I am loving this little cropped jacket by Yoana Baraschi. It is definitely going to be my next purchase. I have been eyeing it for several weeks – one of my fashion rules: anything that you can’t stop lusting after should be a definite purchase! I have already bought a few fun fall jackets but nothing like this one. …It’s great over a little black dress OR jeans and a great top for a night out. I love the chain detail in the back!

Hundreds of thousands of fake Prada, Fendi, and Burberry items were siezed onCanal Street in New York. Twenty nine people were arrested. Way to GO! The value of the fake items were estimated at $230 million dollars. Wow!

Hi girls! Yes, I am alive, despite the heat wave that seems to have settled in for a stay in Birmingham. I love that Fashionista remade this velvet jacket in chocolate and gold. I bought last year’s version in black and silver and wore it everywhere! I still consider it a staple in my wardrobe – it’s great with jeans, trousers or even by itself with leggings. Hi everyone! I haven't blogged in a week or two.. I feel myself getting into a rut with being pregnant and having two young kids that keep me going nonstop!! But then I remembered my motto: You have to take care of yourself so that you can take care of others! In my book, taking care of yourself includes getting up every morning and attempting to look great- putting on makeup, wearing cute (but practical) clothes, eating healthy, exercising, etc. I can feel my rut lifting already! This fall and winter, make sure any beautiful ensemble is finished with a beautiful coat... Walking the streets of New York City, a great coat is extremely important to me. None of my friends or I drive our own cars, so what we wear on the outside is just as (if not more) important as what we wear underneath. I love the Poleci "Tube Sleeve" Coat! I love a smart-looking dress at the office - it's a great alternative to a suit. It can be accessorized so many different ways and easily goes to dinner or drinks after work. J. LaMore has two that I think are perfect for a day in the office, and then a night at your favorite restaurant: the Susana Monaco "Turtle Neck" Dress and the Susana Monaco "V-Neck Gather" Dress (at left). Both are office appropriate but still super stylish. ...However, it's a shame to hide either one of these behind a desk!
One more thing! This Laundry Sweater dress is my kind of look! Love! Love! Love! I also think you guys are right when you say that a tall pair of boots would go great here. That look would be hot!
