I love this Susana Monaco "Patti Boyd" top. The style, the colors, and the bottom of the sleeves and the waist band. It's so cute and I can see why everyone is going crazy for it.
I feel sorry for you guys and your mosquito problem. Is there anything worse then mosquito's? WOW! I have also been watching the terrible flooding problem in the Midwest. It's amazing how water can rise to that level in the middle of a town.
In California, we have 100's of raging wild fires every year and this year is no different. We get the fires because of the lack of rain and the Midwest gets the flooding because of too much rain. Either way, its terrible and I hope everyone makes it through this with no damage.

We just shot this Susana Monaco dress for the new Lookbook photo shoot and I totally fell in love with it. It is adorable in this lush navy blue color with a girly ruffle running down the front. The gauzy cotton is also perfect for hot summer nights out on the town. It would look great paired with any of the new jewelry we got in like these dainty Just the 2 of Us "Star Hoop" Earrings.

Hi Everyone! Here in Wisconsin, we have had record rain falls this season which means the mosquito population is enormous. Does anyone have any remedies for fighting mosquito's? I have been using OFF, which works really well, but smells terrible. Also, what about pets? Ruby is getting eaten alive!

Hi Jennifer- I saw that you were asking for summer drink recipes. Being a mom of 3, I need summer drinks to stay sane!! That being said, I have been clipping recipes recently that I have been meaning to try. The one that looks most refreshing is from Martha Stewart Living- it is called Honey Ruby Red Grapefruitade. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Makes 7 1/2 cups; serves 6 to 8
Any honey can be used for this drink, but wildflower honey adds a nuanced flavor that is slightly floral.

I love the look of shorts with a hot top and heels. In the past shorts have always been thought of a more casual choice, but now a days you can basically wear them on the red carpet with the right heels!! Wow! I came across this picture of Mary Kate at a red carpet event and thought it could be a valuable lesson for us all! Just because it's on the runway, (Marc Jacobs had the headband in his runway show) doesn't mean it's meant to be worn in every day life! Not to even mention the outfit! She's so cute too, I wonder who helped her select this outfit?

Hi Julie and Jennifer: I use the T3 Tourmaline hair dryer for the frizzy days we have here in LA. It's amazing and i love it!
I actually leaned about it from this blog site as I saw a post written in this blog about a year ago. A stylist was shown using it on super model Gisele.
I promptly went out and bought it. It's pricey but it has lasted a long time. You can find it around the Internet for about $150 now.

I know the feeling Julie, this humidity is really doing a number on my hair too! I have to say, I love the Ojon brand of hair care products. Right now I am using Tunu Elastik Hair Tamer, by Ojon and love it. I found it at Sephora, it works really well, and a little goes a long way.

We all know how to look great with what we wear (thanks to jlamore.com), but even if my outfit looks great, my hair is the problem lately!! Madison has been humid for the last week, and it looks like there is no end in site. The 10 day forecast shows rain, heat, and frizzy hair!!
As your west coast reporter for all things gossipy and fashionable, I have to join in on the controversy of the dress that Sarah Jessica Parker wore to the premier of Sex & The City. The dress was gorgeous and the problem is that it was 'second hand'. SJP was promised that the dress had never been worn before when in fact-it had!
Despite assurances that the silver Nina Ricci creation designed by Olivier Theyskens had never been worn on the red carpet before, socialite Lauren Santo Domingo wore the very same dress to the Met Ball last month — and was accompanied to the event by Theyskens himself. Ouch! It wasn't two of the same dress, it was 'THE' dress. That made SJP fuming! I can hardly blame her.
SJP has branded the behaviour of the luxury fashion house “unethical and disappointing”. To add insult to injury, actress Lindsay Lohan wore the dress in an advertising campaign for Disney several months ago. Double Ouch! She's probably wearing the dress right now in rehab. That wasn't very nice, I know, but I couldn't resist.
I surprised the dress isn't being sold in a second hand store by now since everyone and her sister has worn it. I agree with SJP showing her anger and disappointment with the designer. He seems terrible and his apology is a non-apology. "I'm really sorry that Sarah is so upset." Nice apology!
The strapless gown was one of 40 outfits which Parker wore for the international premieres of the Sex & the City movie and the accompanying press junkets. How fun would that be!
I wish I was a socialite. Besides a ton of money, I wonder how you get that title?

Has everyone noticed the great jewelry line we just added to jlamore.com? It's two local designers, Debbie Garten and her daughter, Ali and the brand is called "Just the Two of Us!" Cute name! We love their designs, very hip and trendy. I especially love layering several of the necklaces together. A perfect look for summer.

What do you friends think of the Alice & Trixie "Beaded Mona" Dress for me to wear to my cousins afternoon July wedding? My sister recommended wearing a brown or tan pashmina to cover my shoulders since it's a catholic wedding. I've never been to a wedding (I know, crazy huh!), so I'd love to hear what you guys think!
