Summer Wedding Dress

What do you friends think of the Alice & Trixie "Beaded Mona" Dress for me to wear to my cousins afternoon July wedding? My sister recommended wearing a brown or tan pashmina to cover my shoulders since it's a catholic wedding. I've never been to a wedding (I know, crazy huh!), so I'd love to hear what you guys think!
