Relaxing with Lush....

My question to the friends this New Year is this: What is your favorite way to unwind and relax?

My favorite way to unwind and relax is to retreat to my bathroom with a glass of wine, lock the door (so no little ones can come in!), light some candles, and run a deep, hot bath. I've been known to spend an hour soaking in the tub! Of course, I need some fabulous bath products to keep the bathroom and my skin smelling lovely. On a recent trip to Chicago, we stumbled on Lush in Lincoln Park. The incredible smells lured us into the store- lo and behold, Santa brought myself and my kids some bath bombs a few weeks later! Let me tell you, these are incredible. My girls like the ones that turn the water a beautiful color while releasing confetti or glitter swirling around them, while I like the intoxicating scents. My entire upstairs smells great after using one of these! Order yourself a few, and let your worries melt away!

Sunday Afternoon

For me, Saturday night is a big date night (and hence, a late night), so my boyfriend and I are usually pretty slow to wake on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon is either spent curled up on the sofa in one of his bathrobes or else reading the NY Times at one of our favorite brunch spots in an easy and comfy day dress (nursing any potential hangover with a spicy bloody mary…)! ;)

Sunday Afternoons....

J. LaMore has grown so much since my aunt Jennifer opened the store seven years ago! I knew the first time that I stepped foot in the store and experienced the warmth and friendliness (not to mention the fabulous clothes) that the business would be a success! J. LaMore is one of the first stops I make when I head to Madison. Now, I get to be a part of the store from 2,000 miles away in Miami through jlamore.com!

What I love about being a part of jlamore.com is meeting friends from all over the world and different walks of life. We now have a full-time mom(myself), a magazine editor, a jewelry designer, a public relations director, a college student, and an entrepreneur! (just to name a few)I love talking fashion on the blog, but I also love to know about each friend and how fashion fits into their lives. Which brings me to the question of the month for October:

What is your favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon? Are you recovering from a long Saturday night curled up on your couch in your Twisted Heart outfit? Are you standing at the stove in your Union jeans cooking a Sunday dinner for your family? Or are you headed to the local NFL game bundled up in your Qi Cashmere sweater? I can't wait to hear the different responses from each of the friends!!
