I am counting down the days until I will be in NYC. I can't wait! What woman does not love a city full of fine fashion, trendy restaurants, fabulous bars, and business men. Yes of course I still love my man, but wow it really should be called the city of lust. For me I lust over all the incredible shops.

Amanda, You have to let me know the hot spots in the city. I have two girl friends that live in New York, one that lives in Long Island the other in Manhattan. Restaurants, shops in SOHO, any place that you LOVE!

As of course we all know NYC is the mecca for tredy fashion. The Billy Blues "High Waist Wide Leg" Pant would be a hit in the City. These high waisted wide leg pants really are hot for the business woman. Perfect Valentine's Day Outfit

Valentine's Day is the one day that every lady wants to look her best either for her hubby, Boyfriend, or hopefully her prince charming that she is going to meet and the bar later that night. Whoever you are trying to look your best for the perfect outfit always has to feel comfortable, confident, and flattering. The Susana Monaco "Bombshell Halter" Dress with the Miss Me "Silver Satin" Jacket would be the perfect smokin' outfit. The dress looks great without the jacket, which is nice if you get hot or want to show a little skin. The pink dress is feminine and flirty, the perfect combo.

New Spring Miss Me

I can't believe all the great new pieces from Miss Me. Spring is just around the corner. My favorite outfit is the Miss Me "Woven Crochet" Top with the Miss Me "Plaid Rolled" Short. These two pieces would look perfect with a yellow sandle flat or for a sexier look a high wedge heel. Either way this look is rockin'. The Miss Me "Woven Crochet" Top would also look great with a dark wash denim or with a pair of black slacks to dress the look up. You can wear this top with anything. This is only the beginning!

2008 Grammy Awards

The 2008 Grammy Show was one of the best. The performances were top notch! Tina and Beyonce, Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. Some of the best duo's I have seen. But really lets get down to what we all care about most...the dresses on the red carpet. I had three favorite this year, Rhianna in Zac Posen, Fergie in Calvin Klein, and Carrie Underwood. All of these ladies looked classy and on the best dressed list.

Rhianna chose a bold electric blue dresses with a funky twist of neon orange nail polish. Her hair and diamond Chopard cuff really set this look off.

Fergie looking classy and chic in Calvin Klein was stunning in canary yellow. The simplicity of this dress made her stand out on the red carpet. The train in the back really made this dress one to never forget and also a color that we will see more.

Carrie Underwood rocked this feminine floral gown by Zuhair Murad. Floral prints are going to be everywhere this spring season. Her hair and simply gems really made Carrie another one of my favorites.

A bit of Spring in Winter

We are all dying for just a hint of warm weather and are all so tired of having to bundle up to get into our cars. While we can continue to wish and dream lets take it upon our selves to bring a little luster of spring into our outfits. Lets take the new Susana Monaco "Pattern String" Dress even though you all might think that I am crazy to wear this during the winter seeing that it is tank strap and above the knee. Pair this dress with a solid opaque black thicker tight, knee high leather boots, and the Laundry "Wool" Jacket we have ourselves an adorable spring outfit that is perfect for winter. Don't worry it won't be long until we are able to prance around in Susana Monaco "Pleated Urban Crew" Top and the usana Monaco "String Babydoll" Top.

Perez Hilton: Mr. Queen of Gossip

There is not a day that passes by that we don't hear of another celeb entering rehab or JLO is having twins, or Brit Brit has once again been released from another lock down at the hospital. While we catch these press releases on E! Daily Top 10, the best and my favorite source for all the up to date celeb news is perezhilton.com. Not only does he blog on celebs and their ever so difficult lives, he also touches upon the fashions and wears of all these spot light people.

It is always fun to take a break out of the day and check on jlamore.com and also perezhilton.com. He will crack you up! His sassy attitude can be viewed though his blogs.

Travel 101

In the past few months I have started to travel more and more. Traveling in some sorts is something that you need to learn how to do. For me the following Tips are very important.

1. Just because you are traveling and not in the office or at work you still must dress for success. You can still look nice and put together in jeans nice shoes and a top. The Twisted Heart "Amelia" Hoodie would be perfect with some jeans and boots.

2. Always wear comfy shoes. As we all know flights get delayed and gate changed occur. It is important to be comfortable and be able to book it down the terminal if travel plans change.

3. Carry cash, at least $20.00. Many cabs don't take cards and often times it is much easier paying in cash than a credit card transaction.

4. Water, Water, Wwater. Flying makes you so dehydrated. Instead of grabbing a diet coke opt for a water bottle to carry with you.

Everyone thinks that the day after Thanksgiving is the best day to shop. Jlamore.com has proved that to be wrong. I can't even believe all the AMAZING items on sale. There are so many things that I want to buy!!!! The great thing is that many of these pieces we can still wear into sping and summer. The Poleci "Gathered Neck" Top is one of my favs. It would be so cute with jeans and wedges for spring.

I also love the Yoana Baraschi "Birkin Checker Cropped" Jacket. This jacket is an amazing deal. This jacket would be cute with almost anything!

SAG AWARDS

Did I watch the SAG awards? Of course I did. There is not one awards show that I miss. I love watching the stars walk down the red carpet in incredible design studded dresses, Chopard Gems, and Jimmy Choo shoes. There is always an array of different dresses that walk the red carpet. Every year I have my favorites and this year I have three.

Mrs. Pitt looked incredible in her vintage silk Hermes gown. She always graces the awards with sophistication and class. Of couse as we all know there is talk on the town that she is pregnant agian! If so we are going to be graced with another beauty.

Marion Cotillard was another one of my favorites in Nina Ricci. She looked magical in this pale grey strapless gown. This posed nothing but chic.

I am going to have to say my all time favorite was Vanessa Williams in Escada. WOW!!! She looked so beautiful and the dress fit her like a glove. Like I have said there is more yellow to come!

Even though there is still snow on the ground and in the mid 20's we must start looking into our closets and admiring all the spring and summer clothes that we have, and more importantly the ones that we need. Spring and Summer trends are always consists of jeweled sandals and straw bags.

I can't hardly stand all the amazing dresses on jlamore.com. It truly is making me crave the sun. During the summer and sping I live in dresses with cute jewel embezzeled flip flops and a classic straw bag. The new Susana Monaco "Flower String" Dress is my FAVORITE. There is no way that I can move on into spring and summer with out this dress. The Susana Monaco "Flower String" Dress can be dressed up with a sexy heel or beach casual in straw wedges. Either way this is a killer look!

Black and White are two classic colors that will never go out of style. Trends will come and go but these two colors together are here to stay. A crsip white blouse with a chic pencil skirt and sexy high heels is the perfect combination. This look can be worn to work, on a date, or rocked on the red carpet. This look is easy and flawless. Pair a deep marron, plum, or canary yellow clutch to add a pop of color. The ABS "Wrap Around" Smock Top and the Qi Cashmere "Sequin" Skirt are two pieces that really would define this look. The look is chic and classic.

Sad day...

Today we were all hit with the unexpected death of Heath Ledger. This is such a tragic death. Heath Ledge was an incredible actor that played many different roles, including his nomination for best supporting actor in Brokeback Mountain. This is so very sad.

The Style of Mrs. Cruise

It is crazy to think that only a mere four years ago, Katie Holmes was seen running around town in Levi Jeans and flip flops. Now the magazines are filled with pictures of Mrs. Holmes in designer clothes head to toe, toting around $10,000 Hermes Burkin Bags. The influence of her husband Tom Cruise has really impacted her fashion and life style. I never thought that I would see Katie Holmes side by side Posh Spice in a battle for Fashion Diva.

I will have to say that Katie Holmes transformation is one in a million. She looks incredible. At the 13th Annual Critics Choice awards Katie is wearing a beautiful Lanvin Gown. The gold under tones look vibrent with her olive skin and chocolate bob. This dress reminds me of ABS "Gold Bubble Tank" Dress. It is classy and chic. This dress is a perfect alternative for the Lanvin dress that Katie walked the red carpet in.

Valentine's Day

This holiday is one that is not loved by everyone. Women who are single view it as the most depressing day of the year and women that are either married or have a boyfriend love this holiday seeing that by the end of the night they will be wearing a new piece of jewelry. The 14th is not even a month away and that means that we all need to start planning our outfits. Single or married we all want to look sexy on this day. I think that this holiday should also be known as the National Dress Day. I would reach to say that most women that go out on Valentine's Day are in a dress or skirt of some sort. 

With that being said, the Poleci "Moire Beaded" Dress or the Poleci "Silver Lurex" Dress are two incredible dresses. Depending on your plans either of these dresses would be perfect. They both share incredible design and detail. The ruffles on the Silver Lurex dress are so chic and the beading along the neck line on the Moire Beaded dress is so unique and feminine.

Spring Fever

As I am sitting looking at all the amazing new Susan Monoco pieces I truly am getting spring fever. I am sick of single digit temperatures and need the sun to start shining and giving me some warmer weather. 

The new Susan Monoco String Babydoll top is my favorite new piece. Yellow is going to be one of the hottest spring colors this year. On the runways and in magazines yellow and other soft colors are going to make statements. This top would look amazing with white pants or a denim skirt. Espridrills would really make this look complete. I love the straps crossing in the back. This is a must for everybody!

Babies...Babies..Babies

It has been a crazy week for new parents Christina Agulira and Nicole Ritchie. Both gave birth to their first children. Christina welcomed a boy as Nicole welcomed baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Who knows maybe they will be friends?

Being that they are both first time Mothers, they are going to be running around crazy. They need to be able to wear comfortable yet cute outfits these first few months as they are trying to slim down to their original sizes. The Linq "Lady Like" Jacket would be perfect for the both of them. Since they are both tiny tiny to begin with, they can throw on some leggings or tights and be ready for the day.

Keep in style for 2008

Happy 2008!!! I can't believe we are already well on our way in January. I feel like I have not had a minute to sit down and relax. The holidays are always crazy, running from Mom to Dad's to Grandmas house.

With all my running around, I love to wear the Qi Cashmere "Cardigan Coat" Sweater. This could be worn as a dress with tights or a cute long sweater with skinny jeans. After Christmas Shopping

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and everyone was able to be with their families and loved ones. I know that many of us live all over the world and it is often hard to get the whole family togeher.

I am in L.A and went to the mall yesterday to pick up a quick gift for a friend. I honestly do not understand how there still are that many people at the mall. I thought everyone had been shopping for weeks for gifts. It really is insane.

I was tempted to put up flyers all around the mall for Jlamore.com. The sale going on right now is incredible!!!!! Keeping warm in the Mid-West

The Ice Storms have hit and are here to stay..or at least the frozen cold weather. Today I had to work from home because the road conditions were terrible. The best way to keep warm and cozy is wearing the B. Chyll "Shawl Cardigan" Sweater. This sweater is a stylish blanket! The pattern and belt makes this one of a kind that is perfect to wear to work or out to dinner. This sweater dress would look great with tights or a skinny jean with boots.
