New Friends. . . . . !

Hi Everyone: Please welcome our new "friends" to the site from around the country, Europe, and the UK. They're on the site today. Juliette from Paris, France writes better English then I do. It will be a lot of fun getting to know them and reading their blogs. I'm so excited!!!

Julie from Madison will be added as a "friend" to the site right away but for some reason she didn't make with it with this last group. Hmmmmm! Tech people! What can you do!

We are adding bloggers to the site now. If you want to blog 'click' and send me an email and we can get you started in ten minutes. It's so much fun!

Irish Stew Recipe

Hi Everyone! It is freezing cold here in Madison, WI. So cold, it made me want to make a meal that would warm me up! I found this great recipe on Epicurious.com. I made it last night and it was fabulous! I made one minor change, I added one cup of red wine and 6 cups of beef broth. (instead of the 8 cups of beef broth) I also added fresh portabello mushrooms.

It's delicious! Enjoy!

Hi everyone: Still having blogger image upload problems but the reply message is different. It appears that e-blogger is working on the problem and I will notify everyone by email when it's fixed. You can still write blogs and link them to a URL, however.

Blogger Upload Image Trouble

The J. LaMore blog is experiencing some issues uploading images. This is a Google problem. I posted the problem to them on a message board along with all the other bloggers who are experiencing the same problem.

I will send all of you an email when it is fixed. Hopefully it will be fixed as this has been going on for some time and only recently affecting jlamore.com. You can write text but you can't upload an image.

Party Day!

So many choices! So little time! Wow! How do I begin to choose my dress for our J. LaMore Holiday Party? I mean, Elie Tahari, Laundry, Lu Lu Lame, Susana Monaco, Iilis? Let's face it, my closet at J. LaMore is huge! I finally decided to go with the Laundry Black Coreset Dress, and I have to say, it was incredible!! I felt like a "movie star!" The fit is incredible on this dress, so sexy, but not revealing anything! Plus, I worked in it all night! So, ultra comfortable! Big bonus!

DreamKitchen's Party

Hi again! I had to mention, my great friend and owner of DreamKitchen's, Terri Schmidt, was wearing this dress from J. LaMore. She looked incredible. What a party! We danced to our favorites, Save a Horse, Ride a Cow Boy and Kid Rock's, Cow Boy, not to mention, many other country favorites! It was loads of fun!

Susana Monaco Dress

Hi Everyone! Jim and I went to the DreamKitchen's Holiday party last Friday evening. It was such a blast! They had incredible appetizer's and amazing cocktails, it was a perfect party! Not to mention, the decor! Hello.... "DreamKitchens!" The showroom is full of beautiful kitchens and rooms. Amazing! I wore my Susana Monaco Keyhole Front Dress, it was a big success! I received many compliments and honestly, felt incredible the whole evening in this dress! I highly recommend this dress! It works for casual or dressy. So perfect!

Personality and Assets!

You do have a fabulous personality Amanda, no doubt, but why not show off all your assets! This Pink Polkadot top would look great on you. I think the best way for you to wear it, is the same way I do, which is with a tank top underneath. Take any tank top you have in your closet and pair it with this cute top. It is completely fine if your tank top straps don't line up with the straps on this top. With a tank underneath, this top becomes "bra-friendly" which we all love!

Diane Medak Dress

Hi Amanda. Great question about the Diane Medak black wrap dress. While the dress is very fitted on top, it is more of an a-line fit on the bottom, meaning much more forgiving and ample. Another great thing about this dress is the fabric. It is extremely soft and has a significant amount of give to it. Very comfortable! I do recommend this dress for you! I think you would look amazing in it. Also, I think this dress would be so cute worn casually, like with flip flops or sandals. (since you are in Miami) Diane Medak is one of my favorite designers.

I am so tempted to take a before and after shot for everyone. I can't believe how great these work! I put one in on my left side and none on my right. I am totally serious, it looked like I had gone and gotten a surgical lift. Not kidding. They are amazing! They work great for me because I already have enough "size" it's just that my size is sagging! Highly recommended.

Grateful for today!

I had a phone call from a friend today, her husband had knee surgery and received a terrible infection in the hospital. While he is doing ok, still recovering, it reminded me of how fragile life can be. Which reminded me to be grateful for today. So I am. Pass it along!

Hi Jessica. I would wear a great pair of "skinnies" and a sexy top. Wear the right shoe with those skinny jeans and you will knock them dead. Will there be dancing at this party? I know a really great move. I used this dance move so much I actually own the rights to it. I will let you borrow it but you will have to call me on how to do it and what it looks like. :)

Who did the makeup!

You are so right Jules, the model looks fantastic. I would love to know who applied the make up. I wish whoever it is would do mine. I guess it will remain a MYSTERY at J. LaMore.
