American Idol. . . . Love it!

Hi everyone: Did anyone catch last nights American Idol! It was a shock to see the Irish singer Carly Smithson in the bottom three. I couldn't believe it! That girl can sing. The speculation is that voters probably thought she was a lock to advance so they cast their vote elsewhere.

But, the Janis Joplin-style singer Amanda Overmeyer was the real shocker! She got booted! Sent pack'n! Hit the road Jack! She's brash, unapologetic, and wild. She has some talent but I have to agree with Simon, she does the same thing over and over. Bad hair too! What's up with that! Yuk!

Last week Simon told her to sing a ballad and she replied, ". . . ballads are boring. I want to show people what they can expect when they buy a ticket to my show." I love it! She's gone now and the cutesy country girl Kristy Lee Cook lives to see another week. Ugh!

Brooke (upper right) is my favorite! She's sooo cute and I lover her voice and personality. Anyone can go to this page and read and vote for your favorite Idol contestant.

Kelly Pickler was really good too! It's hard to imagine she didn't win last season!
