Wow! I can't believe a whole year has passed by! Last New Year's Eve my husband and I went to Key West to celebrate the New Year with our friends who have a home there. It was a great time. We watched as this "lady" named Sushi dropped down from the third story of a bar on Duval Street in a red high heel pump. What a sight to see! ( Can you see me in the crowd?)
We're staying in Madison this year, enjoying dinner with friends. What's everyone else up to?

I think it's safe to say the comeback is now official. With an amazing new CD out, and tour dates scheduled nationally (YES I am going!), Britney sure seems like she's turned her life around! Not to mention she looks GREAT!!
These new Billy Blues "Dark 4 Pocket" Jeans caught my eye immediately! I own a lot of fabulous trousers from Billy Blues but I've never owned a denim jean from Billy Blues. I'm positive that I'll love these just as much as I love all my trousers!
The Bailey 44 "Cruella" Dress is the perfect dress to wear for New Years Eve! It's simple and sophisticated, the color is settle yet the back is still daring and sexy.
I'm pretty sure this is the dress that I'm going to be wearing into the start of 2009!!!

My husband and I have five holiday parties to go to before Christmas. A couple of them are casual affairs, at family or friends homes which is always so nice. For those parties, I'm planning on wearing some of the new Miss Me tops with my great Billy Blues trousers. We also have a more formal party at a fancy restaurant. I was stressing out about what to wear (yes even a store owner stresses about such things) and then this Yoana Baraschi dress came in! Done deal. I love the electric blue color, it's so nice to not wear black! The ruffles make this festive and playful.
Did anyone else notice the heel-less boots on Victoria when Clare blogged about the Beckham's new fragrance? The boots are by Antonio Berardi and they have no heels! It must feel like you're walking on your tip toes. No wonder her legs rock, she's working it everytime she slips these hot little numbers on!
I will have to say that while watching the show I was amazed at how these women can work an audience. Being absolutely stunning certainly helps but they have stage presence like no other. And they are physically fit too. I didn't see any Krispy Kreme's backstage.
I heard that hundreds of models tried out for the show and the production took hundreds of people to put it all together.
Anyway, it was fun to watch.

Oh I wish I was in Miami at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that was aired last night. Wow! What a spectacle. But I have to say it wasn't really that much different from any previous year. I would just love to be around all the celebs' and be part of the excitement.
Here, Adriana Lima is definitely an angel. Is she gorgeous or what?
I heard there was a million dollar bra on stage. That's exactly what I need!

So, I hear that Jennifer sent an email concerning the Black Friday Sale and I absolutely hope that this dress is included in the sale. I simply adore it because it gives off a northern feel, like I would want to wear it in a lodge after a ski trip. Also, I just noticed the 25% off everything coupon you guys at jlamore.com have posted. Very cool!
However, speaking of Black Friday, I tend to notice that crazy shoppers can result in injuries and a hectic mess. Good thing I will not have to worry about that hassle with the great sale on the website.

I'm totally in love with this tank by Lauren Moshi. Even though it's wintertime around here, it would be super cute under a bright cardigan. I love the feel of the print on the tank, it reminds me of a psychedelic Bob Marley picture. Moreover, the metallic peace sign near the hip accents that area of the body for a sexy feel.

Glowing with gorgeous baubles and couture fashions, the show begins! The music is pump'n and the gals look amazing.

Models need their hair and makeup PERFECT! Hair stylist want it perfect too! Makeup is never perfect but it needs to look perfect and then some. Its a vicious circle. There is never enough time to do it all so it great to have an experienced staff who know how to put it all together in a pinch.
Getting everyone involved is just the begining. Scheduling hair and makeup can be a tricky thing as well. Everyone has to look just right and each model has there own preference of how they like to look. The fashion show was about expensive jewelry paired with fashion and having access to millions of doallars of jewels is incredible!
Putting on a fashion show is a ton of work. Getting everyone signed up and on board can take weeks.

The women on your home page are so gorgeous and the woman wearing the Lauren Moshi top she is wearing is outstanding. I can barely see it but being from LA, I knew exactly who it was when I saw it. I love this top and I actually just bought it. As a friend on the site, I didn't know you were going to carry it or I would have bought it from you. Bummer and sorry.
Lauren Moshi is a hugely popular designer right now and her designs are hard to come by. So all you Moshi fans out there who are reading this you should act now because in a few days you won't find your size, even on jlamore.com.
I am going to a "new boyfriend's" Thanksgiving dinner with his family for the first time this Thursday. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous although I have met his family informally before. so, I don't know why I'm nervous but I am. I'm also struggling as to what to wear.
Any help out there is greatly appreciated.

Carrie Underwood has a voice that gives me goose bumps. I was told about her from Jennifer some time ago and I've been a fan ever since. I loved watching the CMA's last night and have a new found love of country music.
I thought the entire show was really great. Except, Taylor Swift. I thought she was terrible and the song she sang was silly if not ridiculous. She has no voice and no range. I know she's only 18 years old and was a sensation last year but she is no Carrie Underwood.

Hi Jennifer: I know you love country music and I watched the CMA's awards last night and it was fantastic. I am amazed at Carrie Underwood and how talented she is.
I was also happy to see that Sugarland won the award for best duo of the year. Jennifer Nettles has an incredible voice and she is so passionate when she sings. I love her and the song "Stay."

Hey everyone. I was having lunch at an LA bistro yesterday and saw Jenny McCarthy leaving as I was walking in. I have to say that when you see some people on TV or in the movies you think they're beautiful and flawless.
But Jenny McCarthy is absolutely stunning in "real life." Even in jeans, a t-shirt, and a ball cap she is gorgeous. . . . I think I hate her! I love her new hair style by the way.
