I'm a HUGE leopard print fan, and I am so excited that it's very in this season! One of my girlfriends had the cutest outfit on the other night, which was topped off with gorgeous leopard print pumps and a handbag. I was thrilled to see the new Allen B "Leopard Coat" up on the site. How amazing is that! I also just love the"Christel" pumps by Claudia Ciuti. Hi Amanda: I'm in Chicago on business and saw your blog in a showroom. The Internet is a wonderful thing, isn't it! That is a great outfit, especially for a warm climate like Miami. The knee high shorts are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. The top is a rather thin material so you will need a Cami or a Commando top or tank under it. It's a beautiful top and I wish we had it in other colors. You can do what you like with shoes too! Sandals or heels would be perfect.

Jennifer - I really love this. If I can restrain myself from frivolous spending I think I'm going to save and make this purchase. I want it ASAP while the weather is still warm enough to wear as a coat. For winter it's a cool piece to wear for work or out with jeans. I LOVE IT!
It's not even Halloween yet and I'm already thinking about Christmas!! I love the new dresses, there are so many that would be great for any Holiday Party!! My favorites are the ABS "Balloon Sleeve Dress" and the ABS "Black Sheath Dress with Rhinestone Belt." So classy and elegant, they're perfect!!

Hi Amanda. Great question about the Diane Medak black wrap dress. While the dress is very fitted on top, it is more of an a-line fit on the bottom, meaning much more forgiving and ample. Another great thing about this dress is the fabric. It is extremely soft and has a significant amount of give to it. Very comfortable! I do recommend this dress for you! I think you would look amazing in it. Also, I think this dress would be so cute worn casually, like with flip flops or sandals. (since you are in Miami) Diane Medak is one of my favorite designers.

The new hot look is loose curls around the face with a slight wave. This chic sexy look is perfect daytime do and you can take until the sun goes down. This sexy look can be achieved in 10 minutes flat. It is as simple and you only need hairspray and a small curling iron. Take the ends of the hair and wrap them around the barrel hold for a few seconds, release, spray and you are on your way!

…So last night I was “catching up” on some TV programs saved on my DVR. Although I hate to admit it, I am hooked on the The Bachelor and had to watch Monday’s episode. I LOVE watching the bachelorettes; and for me, part of the fun is scrutinizing their hair, make-up, and outfits! After careful observation (i.e. a couple rewinds) I’m almost certain one of the bachelorettes was wearing the red patent leather Steven “Lalo” pumps on her date with the bachelor in Rome. She looked very chic in a black and white dress and these great red shoes. In case anybody has the episode still saved on their DVR or TiVo, watch for the shoes on Jennifer, from Florida!

The weather here has been dreadful lately. Staying warm has been a challenge considering my wardrobe is very summery still!! i agree with amanda with the dark nail polish colors. i just got a pedicure today and put a very dark almost black purple on. it looks so amazine. i love it. it really allows you to stand out and step out side the box from just the standard red or french pedicure. try its great!! you will love it too!!! For some reason i am really into dresses like i mentioned before. I had a phone call from a friend today, her husband had knee surgery and received a terrible infection in the hospital. While he is doing ok, still recovering, it reminded me of how fragile life can be. Which reminded me to be grateful for today. So I am. Pass it along!

I’ve been eyeing the darkly-colored fingertips on the manicured hands of the celebs and have been dying to try this trend myself. I know dark colors, even black, are a huge trend in the manicure-world. But for me (a neutral-shade gal) the trend is a bit intimidating. This weekend, though, I finally dipped my hands into the darker side of polish, and I absolutely LOVE the look – it feels edgy and elegant at the same time. Especially against this fall’s rich color palette, the really deep burgundies and plums look fantastic. My friend Tanya loves Chanel’s classic “Vamp” color, though I think Nars Cosmetics’ “Gimme Shelter” is a perfect deep aubergine (see above left). If you’ve been thinking about this trend but are afraid of going really dark, try one of the colors I mentioned or one of the other dark plums, burgundies, and berries. But keep your nails short – you want to look chic, NOT like Halloween’s come early… (And if anyone can get their hands on Chanel's sold-out, limited-edition "Black Satin," let me know). ;)

Remember those jeans you wore the night you were in New York and we went to Rosa Mexicana? I would wear those and a great top. Also, remember the last party you went to and had to much to drink and you ripped your jeans getting out of the cab? I don't think you should wear those jeans.

This blazer by laundry is the best. I saw it in the new arrivals and fell in love with it. That color is just beautiful. I was scrounging through my closet looking for something to wear and I wish I had it!
