Steve Madden

Steven by Steve Madden began many years ago as Madden worked as a stock boy in a Long Island shoe store. He later worked for a wholesaler, where he observed the gap between the desires of his female clientele and the products offered. In 1990 Steve Madden Shoes began in a small closet at the Plaza Hotel.

Madden attributes his success to staying on top of the trends and being in touch with his customer. The Steven brand by Steve Madden has a quality product, produced in Spain and inspired by hot trends of the moment.
