Here’s a picture of me and my girlfriends on a night out in Florida. I'm wearing one of my favorite tops, the Sky "V-Neck Metal Belt Top." We started the night with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and couldn't move afterwards because we were so full! We all shared the plain cheesecake with strawberries and the Oreo cheesecake for dessert and they were both to die for!

I'm finally back from Florida, and I had a wonderful time! The weather was great, and I was so so lucky to escape the winter snow storm that hit Madison over the weekend! It wasn't much fun coming back to so much snow though :(
Hi Max, I have very fair skin myself and feel like I've tried every tanning product around. Within the past several months, I've become hooked on the "airbrush tan" before any major event or vacation. In fact, I am going to L.A. for the weekend and am getting my "tan" sprayed on tomorrow night before I leave on Friday...
I've heard horrible things about the tans that are sprayed by the machines, so I would stay away from those. (Being pale is so much better than being orange or streaky!) I go to Brazil Bronze Glow Bar in New York where the tanning solution is applied by technicians (apparently some of the celebs are clients), and I noticed they have a location in Reno. Of course I can't vouche for the Reno salon, but the technicians here are really great about applying a very natural-looking "tan" that lasts several days.
Otherwise, I would suggest using the Glow Fusion (it's a great product) and have a good friend apply it. Having a friend spray it on you will probably give you more even and natural-looking results. There are probably other salons that offer an application of self-tanner (combined with an exfoliation treatment) that are good too - I think the key, really, is having someone else apply it. ...Good luck!

I've looked into tanning options (other than the fake bake) in my area and we have a few things available: 2 places offer a mystic tan which is done by a machine in a booth and 1 place offers a very unsophisticated version of the airbrush tan OR Sephora sells 2 different GlowFusions - 1 in a can and 1 that comes with a spray gun.
I know Jennifer has used GlowFusion. Has anyone used the GlowFusion using the spray gun or had a mystic tan? I have very fair skin and am concerned with turning orange and streaking. Also, I've seen girls that have done something similar to a mystic tan and their feet look weird b/c shoes and straps rub off the tanning solution. I have a couple of big events coming up in Southern Cal and really need to do something about my ghostly appearance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The red carpets were filled with glamorous, gorgeous celebrities anticipating the possibility of holding the prized golden Oscar award wanted by millions of people. This was not the only thought running though these high profile fashionista celebrities, “I pray tomorrow I will not be a fashion victim on Melissa and Joan Rivers worst dress!” The anticipation of revealing the final gown could be more stressful then actually not winning the award.
I believe this was the best-dressed Oscars ever! Penelope Cruz in Versace and Reese Witherspoon in Nina Ricci were the two best dressed on the carpet. The look this year tube, long, flow, accessorized with tons of bling bling provided by Neil lane. All and all I would have to say this was a GLAMOROUS evening.

I am finally back from my trip to Tampa. It could not have been a better weekend. It was at least 80 degrees everyday and not a cloud in the sky. I was sorry to hear that everywhere else was being hit hard with temperatures in the teens and inches of snow. I looked pretty funny getting of the plane to a cool and rainy San Francisco day with a nice dark tan! I wore my sky dress all weekend. It was perfect in the sunny weather. There were six of us that rented a condo just a few steps from the beach. It was incredible to wake up every morning and hear the sounds of the ocean. I also wore my Bailey pleated black top on Friday night for the rehersal dinner the night before the wedding. I wore it with white pants and the Steven peep toe heels. Let me tell you it was a good looking outfit. Amanda, you are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. I had a blast and I can't wait until I get to go back again!!!
I love the new merchandise! I'm particularly eyeing the new pieces from Susana Monaco. I love to stock up on her easy-to-wear (and easy-to-pack) pieces... Whenever I have a quick weekend in Miami (or any warm destination), the first pieces I reach for are always from her line. The fabric is almost wrinkle-proof and is so comfortable to wear.
Another bonus - so many of her pieces can be dressed up or down - perfect for drinks, window-shopping, or a stroll on the beach. Again, great for those quick weekend getaways when you're trying to pack light! ...A must-have for all modern-day jetsetters. :)

Hi Everyone: I went to an Oscar's party last night and it was so much fun. It's one of the best party night for me and a group of my friends. Everyone is dressed up and the place was packed. My favorite dress of the night was worn by Reese Witherspoon. She looked amazing! I also thought the dress by Nicole Kidman was incredible. What was interesting was even though all the glizt and glam was going on people were still talking about Britney. . . amazing!
Anyway, the night was filled with gossip and laughter and it was a blast. There were so many beautiful dresses this year. . .!

Good morning, everyone! While most of the country is still freezing, we are enjoying some great weather down here in Miami- high 70's and plenty of sun. In fact, this morning we are headed out the door to do some window shopping and lunch on Lincoln Road in South Beach. If you've never been there, it is quite an experience. Filled with outdoor cafe's and funky shops, you are almost certain to spot a celebrity or model. I am going to put on some J.Lamore duds so I can fit in and stand out at the same time! My Billy Blues "Wide Waist Shorts" paired with my Bailey 44 "Pleated White Top" will do just the trick. Stay warm!

I am so excited! I get to go to dinner with my husband (alone) for the first time since the baby was born! It is so nice to get ready for a night out and know that I don't have to pack goldfish crackers, diapers, and other items to keep kids happy while waiting for the food. This is me.. We are about to leave right now. Hurray!

I would just like to say Happy Birthday to my sweet baby Anna- she is 1 year old today! I had a party for her on Sunday and made a wonderful meal..we had Antipasto, caesar salad, Spaghetti with Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs, and birthday cake. Since everyone likes to make fun of me for taking pictures of my food, I just had to take this one of the cake I made from scratch and decorated myself! I am very proud of it as you can see. This is Anna and me at the party- I am wearing Baily 44 "Pleated White Top". I got so many compliments! This top is so comfy and forgiving- especially when you are eating a big meal! (and miracle of miracles, I didn't get any spaghetti on it!) All for now...

I love all of the new merchandise. The jewelry is my favorite! I love vamping up my outfit with some great jewelry. Adding a necklace or two completly changes the look of your outfit. It would look great to layers two of the necklaces. Earlier today I was reading Bazzar and could not notice all of the layering going on this spring. The charms on the neckalces make these pieces very unique and funky. I love them all!!!

One of our favorite restaurants in Madison is the Tornado Steak House. Incredible menu of steaks and seafood. They offer, on Friday nights only, a fabulous fresh lake perch fish fry. I'm heading to Madison next weekend for a family wedding and am bringing my boyfriend with me. This will be only his fourth trip to Wisconsin, and like a good host, I want to impress him with the best Madison has to offer...
Although I would certainly consider him a serious New York "foodie," I know he's most looking forward to an authentic, down-home, classic Wisconsin fish fry - with of course, cold Wisconsin beer! In previous trips to Madison, we've tried Esquire Club and some other very divey spot on the East Side (which so far was his favorite)! For this trip, I'm hoping to try something new... Does anyone have any recommendations for a great Friday night fish fry in or around Madison??? I've read about Avenue Bar, Big 10 Pub, The Old Fashioned, and others... but would love to hear some recommendations.
We're only going to be in town for a short while, but if anyone has any other not-to-miss spots (for drinks, brunch, whatever), I'm all ears.... Please post or email me.

I personally love my stylist, Donna Perez, at Chase Whitfield Salon & Spa. I can always trust her judgement; in three years I've never been disappointed. If you live in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, or know someone who does, treat yourself or someone special to some of her services. Neither she or her team will ever fail to meet your expectations! That new pizza place sounds amazing! I've already told a lot of my friends about it, and hope to try it when I get the time. The margherita pizza sounds delicious. I love authentic Italian pizza places, much much better then some greasy chain like Pizza Hut!

I didn't get to see Jessica Simpson but I did see Jamie Foxx last night. We celebrated Valentine's at Dolce, a great new restaurant in Reno. Dolce is located in the same casino where Jamie was performing and he was on the casino floor with his huge crew of people. It was kind of fun to have a celebrity sighting! Jessica Simpson was in Madison last night!!!! She was spotted at John Mayer's concert singing along to every song. How adorable is that?

Jessica is so right! The special delivery from Zamira at the restaurant Villa Dolce was absolutely incredible. Not only did she bring us the most delicious pizza's, she also brought us two great salads, gelato, and sorbet! Seriously delicious. One of the pizza's was topped with artichokes, caramelized onions, shiitake mushrooms, anchovies, feta cheese and pesto....unbelievable flavor. The second pizza was their margherita pizza, topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and multiple gourmet cheeses. Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat, meaning, I have tasted a lot of pizza's! The pizza from Villa Dolce, in Middleton, WI, is one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I find it hard to believe that the Billy Blues "Denim Jacket" has not sold out yet! This piece is probably one of the most versatile pieces in J.Lamore's collection. What a great show, but more importantly the red carpet was slammed with glam, fashion, and beautiful gems. There really wernt’ any dresses this year that were terrible. Often times these award shows get some dresses that you just want to ask “Did you look in the mirror before you went out?”. Overall the fashion was a hit. The look this year was short, sparkly, and sexy. It was all about showing off those legs they pay thousands of dollars for. One of my favorites was Mandy Moore’s dress. It reminded me of the SKY dress that JLamore carried a while back. You are not going to be able to walk the streets without seeing someone in one of these long dresses. Side note: Justin has defiantly brought SEXY back.
Unfortunately, I didn't actually watch the Grammy's (it was not a smart move to have a brand new Desperate Housewives on right in the middle of them.) I did get to see Justin Timberlake's performance though, which was amazing of course. I love Justin's style. He was wearing a dressy suit with tennis shoes... and it looked amazing. Any other guy would do that and we'd think it was sloppy- how does that work?!
I noticed that Fergie and Vanessa Minnillo were wearing very similar dresses. I like them both a lot! I'm more into the 'elegant' look for the Red Carpet though, and I think they were more appropriate as 'party dresses'. Feel free to post your favorite pics from the red carpet, I didn't have much time to search for the best outfits and I want to see them!
