Welcome Ali! Glad to have you as a friend from Chicago. Hi Jenifer and Jessica, I love this beautiful dress by laundry! Very stylish and trendy!
Black and white is probably my best colors and the colors I go for the most. This dress is beautiful. The bubble bottom and the pockets really make it special.
Great job to all of you at jlamore.com.

Hi Amanda in Miami: I am thinking of ordering the Jaloux top you wrote about and I was wondering how it fit? I have a work function that is outdoors (more like a company picnic) and I have been looking at this top along with some others as the selection is growing all the time at jlamore.com.

Both of you are right about the Yoana Baraschi "Couture" dress, but this "60's Party" dress by Yoana Baraschi is fantastic. I love this look!
In my recent move from one side of Paris to the other, I got rid of so many things that I never wore and I feel like I have to start over. I would love to start right HERE! It also feels like I moved to another city because the fashions from where I used to live is so different to where I live now!
All the fashionistas in my "new" Paris are wearing this look right now. Yoana Baraschi definetly has a European style to her and designs because both dresses mentioned would fit perfectly in Paris. They're beautiful and so feminine!
By the way Jennifer, I'm so excited to hear that you are coming to Paris? I got your email and I would love it if I got to meet you and your friends. I'll send you information on the best places to go. I remember when I went to NY with my friends and Amanda's suggestions made the trip fantastic. We still talk about it. I will do the same for you!

Hi Jennifer and gang: Our move is finally done and we now live in a much better apartment in Paris. . . It took almost one month to move and I need to catch up on everything that's going on in the world of J. LaMore fashion. I see you had an eight year anniversary sale and party. Congratulations and I hope you have another successful eight years.

Hi Max: I thought I would check in before I leave for four days in St Malo on the north coast of France on the English Channel. Its beautiful there and we're staying at a B & B. Some of those little B&B's are pretty primitive. We travel along the coast to all the fishing villages and quaint little restaurants and shops. It's been two years since the last trip there. It's approx 400 km from Paris and the scenery is gorgeous. We don't own a car so we rented a tiny little car. It's awful!
We'll bring our own wine and picnic along the way, although the weather is not very good for that right now but, who cares. I packed a small suit case with several jlamore.com items that Jennifer sent me for the friends benefit. Thank you Jennifer!
i'll take pictures and post them when I get back. If i can figure out how to do that.

Welcome Erica and Tia: It's so much fun to see new faces on the site. I was recently in New York over the New Year and received wonderful advice from Amanda B who lives in New York about clubs and restaurants. The trip was so much fun because of that advice and my friends and family are still talking about it. All of that because of this blog and jlamore.com.

Hi Amanda and Julie: The smokey eye is a big look in Paris and it seems everyone in the fashion magazines and night clubs are into this look. I haven't tried it yet but I have to say, I really like it. Some girls wear it really smokey and others wear just a hint. I think a subtle look is better.
Now that you gals are going to try it I think I'm going to as well. What can it hurt.

Hi Jennifer: I just logged on and saw the "New Arrivals" and I love 1060 Sherman. Those colors are stunning! I especially love the long "Maxi" dress. It's so hip and pretty at the same time.

I'm with you Amanda K. I really don't understand the infatuation with Anna Nicole Smith. She does not seem like a great person to have all this fuss over. It's terrible that she died and her brother died and all the turmoil around everything she has ever done but,. . . There are lots of things I don't understand about the fascination with celebrities.

That's a great idea to wear a belt with those Billy Blues Wide Waist Shorts and especially tucking in a top to show off the belt, the belt loops, and the top. Along with a stunning pair of shoes or sandals, that would be a very trendy look.
I love it and thanks for the advice. I also think its fantastic having a stylist at my finger tips.

Hi Jennifer: I really like the Billy Blues "Wide Waist Short" but I have a question for you or Jessica. Would you wear a belt with this short? I see the belt loops but I'm unsure if you would wear a belt with them.
By the way, I really love your hair color.

My condolences Max!

I also love Valentines Day, and in Paris it's a big deal. Unfortunately, my husband will be out of town so we are celebrating after he returns. We will go to a romantic Cafe' for dinner and exchange cards and gifts. I'm French, my husband is not so I had to teach him all the French traditions and history that was taught to me as a young girl. Like this one;
A young Frenchman, Charles, Duke of Orleans is said to have written the first written Valentine's Day Cards. The Duke who was captured at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 is said to have written a poem or ‘Valentine' to his wife while imprisonment in the Tower of London.
How romantic!

Happy New Year Amanda and Jennifer and everyone. I just want to say thanks for a wonderful time in New York. Our family and friends had a fantastic time and we went to three of the restaurants chosen by my "new friends" at jlamore.com. We did not get a chance to do a lot of shopping but we went and saw many of the sights and attractions. What an incredible city. I think Paris is incredible but New York is unbelievable! I showed all my friends jlamore.com and we used the list that Amanda and Jennifer suggested to pick places to eat and meet. It was so much fun to do that and so easy. Without some guidance about where to go, we could have made some really bad decisions and had half as much fun.

I will be traveling to New York after Christmas. Does anyone have any good new restaurant recommendations for me and adult family members to go to. I recently saw the Chicago list of restaurants for Amanda and they looked yummy! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
